Every year on the week of ANZAC day, the Burnie Dockers football club play in honor of Corporal Cameron Baird.
RSL club members select a player the represents the corporals, values and award the Cameron Baird VC MG Medal.
The 2025 medal was awarded to Harry Walters – Congratulations Harry. 5/5/2025

Our primary objectives are to provide support to veterans and their families, acknowledge Australian Defence Force service and perpetuate its patriotic duty whilst encouraging conversation and mateship between those who have served and their communities

You don’t have to be ex-serving. The Burnie RSL is operated by volunteers. From meal and bar service, building maintenance, ANZAC and remembrance services, Bunnings BBQs and other functions, is all done by our dedicated volunteers. If you have some time to help please click below.
